On the Academic Job Market in the Social Sciences and the Humanities--An Informal Faculty Panel for non-Science Postdocs
Date and Time
December 7, 2016
12:00PM - 01:30PM EST
Location
Barker Center, Kresge Room (114)
A panel of three Assistant Professors in Anthropology, Comparative Literature, and NELC (Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations) will answer your questions about being on the academic job market. This will include do's and don'ts. What good experiences, and what bad experiences, did they have? What are the top 5 things they did well, and the top 5 things they wish they had done better, either on the market or during their time as postdocs?
This is a brown bag event, so feel free to bring your lunch.
