This workshop will consider why diversity and inclusion are important in both academia and industry, and explore how you can foster an inclusive environment in your classroom, your lab, or any future professional setting. The session will be both interactive and introspective to help you to develop your personal diversity statement and to plan how you will incorporate inclusive practices into your professional life.
