How do you answer this frequent question: “So, what’s your research about”? While your loved ones may just smile and nod, the stakes are high when you need to explain your research to a potential employer, funding agency, or the media. In this interactive workshop, you will learn how to use examples and analogies to connect with your audience, and to craft clear, short, conversational statements about your work and why it matters. This program is open to Harvard GSAS students and Harvard postdocs, and scholars from all disciplines will learn valuable strategies for communicating their research to varied audiences.

Please register here.

This program will also be delivered on the Longwood Campus, Dec 10, 10:00am - 12:00pm. If this is more convenient for you please register for the morning session at Longwood HERE.

Co-sponsored by the FAS Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Harvard Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Integrated Life Sciences, HMS/HSDM Office of Postdoctoral Fellows, and the Office of Career Services for FAS.
