Please join us for an open discussion with Dr Andrew Strikwerda from COMSOL Multiphysics. Andrew has a breadth of work experience covering industry, government, and academia, and we will have a lengthy Q&A after a short introduction. At COMSOL, he is the Applications Manager in charge of electromagnetics, and will cover what it is like to work at COMSOL and the skillsets he looks for on his team. He will also briefly discuss his experiences working in government sponsored R&D based on his time as a senior staff scientist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, and is happy to answer questions relating to his academic career (adjunct at the JHU Whiting School of Engineering, postdoc at Technical University of Denmark, PhD at Boston University). Andrew is currently looking to hire an Applications Engineer with a background in electromagnetic modeling and simulation.
