DESCRIPTION:<p>Do you love teaching your discipline, but don’t want the pressure of high-powered research?</p><p> Prof. Adam Urbach from Trinity University (postdoc ‘02-‘04, Whitesides group) will discuss this career path, including the types of PUIs, faculty life and the balance of responsibilities, undergraduate research, tenure expectations, preparing for this career, tips for job applications, finding a good fit, and anything else of interest to the audience. If there is time and interest, he can also discuss planning for individual career development in general. Students, postdocs, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. </p><p>Registration required.
