Chris Stubbs, Divisional Dean of Science, and Mike Smith, Interim Dean of the John A. Paulson School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, invite you to a half-day workshop geared towards postdocs and graduate students in STEM fields. This workshop will focus on Generative AI (GAI, such as ChatGPT) and will seek to clarify what it is, what it’s not, and why it matters for your careers. Topics will include the ethical considerations of GAI and its use in proposal preparation, scientific manuscripts, job applications, research, teaching, and other elements of your professional life. The workshop will be a combination of hands-on and interactive learning, panel discussions, and networking/peer conversations around GAI. (There will also be snacks and a closing wine/cheese reception!)
