DESCRIPTION:<p>	This course of 10 classes, led by Marcia Triunfol, CEO of Publicase International, will provide participants an <strong>objective and straightforward technique to help them to craft their scientific papers quickly and efficiently</strong>. The technique learned during this course can be applied to grant writing and other documents. <br><u>Note</u>: The focus of this workshop, which is targeted to postdocs in <strong>the Biological and Biomedical fields, </strong>is not on improving language or writing skills per se, but streamlining the process of crafting a scientific paper.</p><p>	Classes will be virtual and interactive. In addition to the lectures, participants are expected to take quizzes and complete assignments. What now?	</li>	<li>		April 7: Let the world know about your paper	</li></ul><p>	<u>About Marcia Triunfol, Ph.D.</u><br>Marcia Triunfol is a former molecular biologist and the founder and current CEO of Publicase International, a science communication company created in 2008. Marcia has a Ph.D. in Molecular biology, a 2- year post-doc training at NIH and extensive professional experience as a science writer, editor, and translator. She worked for four years as an associate editor at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, which publishes the journal <em>Science</em>. She has published research papers and news pieces in journals such as <em>The Lancet</em>, <em>The Lancet Infectious Disease</em>, <em>The Lancet Oncology, Science, Cell</em>, and <em>The Scientist</em>. By combining her knowledge as a former scientist, her creativity as a news writer and her experience as a scientific editor, she developed a straightforward method that has helped thousands of researchers write their papers efficiently and quickly. The method can be adapted to other documents such as grant proposal, projects, and theses.</p>
