Neuroscientist at MGH and Harvard Medical School, Sara Lazar’s recent research documents the changes that can happen in the brain as a result of meditation. One of her findings noted an increase in gray matter in the frontal cortex which is related to executive decision-making and working memory.

You are invited to participate in a 4-week meditation and mindfulness-based skills class offered to post-doctoral students. There are four, 75-minute classes and students are required to commit to participate in all four sessions in order to be enrolled.

Class Dates: Wednesdays, April 6, 13, 20 and 27   
 Time: 4:15 – 5:30 p.m.
